    The mission of the Plano ISD Employee Child Care Centers is to provide a fun, nurturing and safe learning environment committed to preparing lifelong learners. The Employee Child Care Centers support the school district's efforts to recruit and retain the community's most highly qualified employees to serve the educational needs of Plano public school children. Children are eligible to enroll at the center between the ages of 6 weeks to 4 years of age. If a child turns 5 years old on or before September 1st of the upcoming school year, the child will need to enroll in kindergarten or attend an alternative child care center. Enrollment in the Employee Child Care Center is for Plano Independent School District Employees. The district employee must register their student when setting up their Eleyo account. Grandchildren of employees are not eligible to enroll unless the grandparent is the court ordered guardian. The Employee Child Care Centers enroll children without regard to race, sex, ethnic origin, religion, or disability status, in accordance with applicable law. Part-time enrollment is not currently available. The Employee Child Care Centers are State Licensed facilities governed by Texas Health and Human Services/ Child Care Regulation that maintain required staff to child ratios.   • PASAR

    PASAR is Plano ISD's after-school care program for students in grades Pre-K through grade 5, located on all elementary campuses, Head Start, Beaty ECS, Isaacs ECS and Pearson ECS. Online registration only PASAR is a pre-paid afterschool program. PASAR provides a safe and positive environment for students. Opportunities are given for students to work on homework and participate in structured recreational and fine arts activities to enhance their overall skill development. PASAR will start immediately after school on early release days. There is no additional charge. PASAR Care Hours Monday through Thursday 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. Friday 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Late charges will apply to any late pickup. Non School Day Care/Summer Care hours are 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM / Monday through Friday. Limited Enrollment: PASAR is operating with lower caregiver to child ratios.   • Prekindergarten

    The Plano ISD PreK program provides a language and literacy enriched environment where children have hands-on opportunities for learning. Our child-centered program follows the developmentally appropriate practices outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The curriculum framework follows the Texas Prekindergarten Curriculum Guidelines and provides an instructional program that is vertically aligned with the Kindergarten Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. Children who are four years old on or before September 1st and do not qualify for either the full-day Early Childhood Special Education program or state-funded prekindergarten are eligible to enroll in the tuition-supported prekindergarten program.

  • Preschool (Early Learning Centers)

    The primary goal of the PISD Sr. High Preschool Early Learning Centers is to create an environment in which children may develop to their fullest potential at their own individual pace. By providing carefully planned experiences and by utilizing successful teaching methods, the centers are able to guide each child and stimulate positive growth. Under the guidance of a certified director, the preschool provides a laboratory experience for senior high students who are enrolled in Instructional Practices in Education & Training and are seeking to pursue careers related to children or education. Our preschools are licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Call or email the appropriate director for enrollment and further information.
